Julia Stadler - CEO & Co-Founder
Julia (Julie) Carell Stadler's passion for competitive ballroom dancing inspired her to create Dance Network the first-ever digital network which showcases all styles of dance in one place. When Stadler discovered the joy of dance and the positive influence it had on the lives of others as well as her own, she embraced the opportunity to share the joyfulness of dance on a universal scale. Her desire is to bring the spotlight of television to the artistry and athleticism of dancers.
Stadler is a co-owner in Carell Family, LLC, a commercial real estate investment firm located in Nashville, Tennessee. In the past, Stadler has held several management positions and has served on the Board of Directors of Central Parking Corporation, a publicly traded company, as well as the Board of Friends of Warner Parks and the Ensworth School in Nashville, TN.
Coming from a family where philanthropy was valued and encouraged, Stadler lives by the truism that "actions speak louder than words." Native Nashvillians, Stadler and her sisters continue their family's legacy of supporting their community and issues surrounding the health and wellness of children. She currently serves on the Board of Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She also serves on the Board of Directors of New Dialect, an internationally respected dance company and has recently joined the Board of Women in Film and Television, both based in Nashville, Tennessee.
David J. Medeiros - COO & Co-Founder
David Medeiros applies his 30 years as a professional dancer and innovator in the dance industry to help form Dance Network. As co-founder of Dance Network he has demonstrated his entrepreneurial talent by casting the vision for Dance Network and then creating the first network dedicated to showcasing all styles of dance. The owner of Champion Ballroom Center, a dance studio in Franklin, TN, and partner/owner in four Ballroom Dance competitions across the United States, he is considered a maverick in his field. Madeiros is a former professional "9 Dance Champion" and has won many Top Teacher awards with his students.
He currently serves as the President and Founder of the Global Dancesport Series, which is comprised of 14 Ballroom Dance competitions across the country with the purpose of encouraging Pro/Am dancing. Medeiros resides in Nashville, TN, and is also a partner in the internet radio station Ballroom Beats, which provides correctly edited music for Ballroom Dancing enthusiasts worldwide.
David Campbell - CCO
David Campbell draws on his award- winning background in theater and television series creation and production to direct content for Dance Network. He is the co-founder of Jumbo Pictures and Cartoon Pizza, where he co- created and produced groundbreaking and highly acclaimed children’s television programs that have entertained and enlightened children and families for more than two decades. With his partner, Jim Jinkins, Campbell created the Nickelodeon series “Doug,” which launched Nicktoons, a programming block that changed the face of children’s television. The series received numerous accolades, including two Parents’ Choice Awards, a Kids’Choice Award, three Cable ACE Award nominations, four Emmy nominations as Best Animated Children’s Show and the prestigious Prix Jeunesse International Award. Following the success of “Doug,” Walt Disney Studios acquired Jumbo Pictures and made it the anchor of ABC’s Saturday morning lineup. The now classic cartoon “Doug” inspired various books, merchandise, a live musical stage show, and a theatrical feature. He is the founder and director of a talent management company for groundbreaking talent such as Louis CK and television series including “Mystery Science Theatre 3000 ” and “Grace Under Fire.” Campbell is currently working on several new projects, including the Parent’s Dove Award- winning “HoopDogz,” along with “Holy Fire,” a Broadway- bound musical comedy, set in Nashville, TN. Campbell has worked on many theatrical productions in New York and Los Angeles, producing alongside such show business legends as Mickey Rooney, Ann Miller, Carol Channing, and Donald O’Connor in multiple productions of “Sugar Babies,” which played more than 1,200 performances on Broadway.
Barrett J. Klausman (Leigh) - CTO & CMO
Barrett J. Leigh (Klausman) spent the past 15 years bouncing between studio films and producing grass roots independent features. His most notable studio film experience is saturated with Romantic Comedies like Knocked Up, Funny People, Bad Teacher, Bridesmaids, Walk Hard and This is 40, while also peppered with blockbusters such as, Fast and Furious 3, Tokyo Drift, National Treasure and the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films.
Barrett is also the co-founder of Farm Dog Productions which has furnished special projects for films like Steve Jobs, Neighbors, Wedding Ringer, This is the End, The Boss and more. Farm Dog Productions is a branding and marketing resource for digitally based content both regionally and throughout the globe. If you've watched content on platforms like Hulu, Netflix, Youtube, Yahoo, Amazon Go, or in live venue spaces like Alamo Theatre, Hollywood Bowl, Regal Cinema's, etc. then you've probably seen some of Farm Dogs work.
His focus over the past few years is strictly in the grass roots, having produced soon to be released films After Darkness starring Kyra Sedgwick and Tim Daly as well as the recently released Boulevard starring the recently departed Robin Williams and is currently producing Sony Studios All Saints, May 2016.
Dance Network is an easy fit for Barrett as it brings his two favorite worlds together; Technology and Inspiration.
Holly Bell - CFO
Holly has worked in the finance world since graduating from Purdue University with a BS in Agriculture Economics. As a native of IN, she was raised in an entrepreneurial family which fostered her desire and skills to be a serial entrepreneur.
At 28, Holly opened her first business as a fee based financial planner. She has also started four other businesses, one of which she held for 20 years. After 11 years Holly sold her financial planning practice and took her business skills to corporate America. With in a short time Holly became recognized and sought after as an entrepreneur for corporations or an “intrepreneur”. After building and creating 3 new departments/regions for banks, she chose to leave the banking world in July of 2015, to create and start her own businesses again.
Holly is the co founder of Nashville-Access with her spousal equivalent Dallas Rogers. Nashville Access is an International Media Company with a one hour radio show aired in 17 countries on 63 stations. Dallas and Holly also have music publishing company with an award winning writer.
In 2015, Skyway Studios and Dance Network reached out to Holly to tap her start up business skills and strong financial background. In February of 2016, she joined the team full time as the Skyway and Dance Network CFO.
Holly has one daughter Hilary and a bonus son Andrew, both recognized young professionals in the film industry.
When not working, Holly enjoys hiking, reading, and cooking. Helping mentor young people is a passion for Holly too. She is a member of many entertainment organizations/boards and is a graduate of Leadership Music.
